Steve Cauley is a writer and aspiring filmmaker living in Austin, Texas. As a teenager, he made numerous Super 8 films inspired by the twisted imaginations of his friends (who also served as actors). In his adult life, he founded Tom Foolery Productions, under which he has completed one very low-budget film entitled, “Wake Up, Herbert,”

in which he served as writer and director. He also has completed a short film entitled, Soccer Mom, which he directed and co-wrote with Greg Dorchak. He and Dorchak also co-wrote a feature, Code Enforcer , which went into production in October of 2008 but ran out of money half-way through. That project is the inspiration behind this blog’s title.
